We require a 5-year Driver’s Abstract for all new quotes.
This helps us save you both time and money — thank you for your cooperation!

If your license is suspended:

  • Ask the registry for your old operator’s license number.
    Your Driver’s License number will look like this: 123456-789 (9 digits).

  • Important: Your Driver’s License number is not the same as your MVID number (MVID looks like 0123-45678).

  • Contact SafeRoads Alberta at 780-427-7233. Advise them that your licence number is needed for insurance purposes.
